Zagreb main bus station

The Zagreb main bus station (autobusni kolodvor) is a shopping centre-like building located to the south-east of the railway station, a 15 minute walk from Zagreb centre.

Public tram transportation is available. Go across the street and pick up tram N°6 towards Črnomerec to get to the main square at Trg bana Josipa Jelačića. Taxis are plentiful, the cost is about 7 Eur to get to Zagreb centre.

Although they say that the bus station is one of the most contemporary in this part of Europe, it is not a building you'll see contesting for it's beauty but facility wise, it does have all you might need when catching a bus. At least, with its sharp angles and nothing but concrete style it is easy to locate.

Luggage storage

Zagreb main bus station offers lockers for storage of your luggage. It is available 7 days a week and is located at the arrival terminal No. 106. Working hours are from 6:00 to 22:00.

Passenger luggage (travel bag, suitcase etc. up to max. 40 kg), until 4:00, per hour and piece. 0,80 Eur.

For large and sensitive luggage (travel bags heavier than 40 kg, radio and TV sets, bicycles...) per hour and piece. 1,33 Eur.

Assistance to persons with disabilities

Zagreb Main Bus Station has been fully adapted for persons with reduced mobility. The facilities inside the Bus Station building can be reached by three escalators.

A restroom fully adapted to persons in wheelchairs is located on the ground floor. For unaccompanied travellers or those unable to buy or get the ticket on your own, please call chief traffic officer at +385 (0)1 6008 645 for assistance from the moment you enter the Zagreb Bus Station building to the moment you board the bus.
